Priyanka goes far away from bollywood

Not once in six years has Priyanka Chopra let her guard down. She has worked tirelessly all the time to reach for the coveted top spot.

Now that she has done that, she has decided to give herself a little treat for it. She left for a vacation to an undisclosed place out of the country on Wednesday night with a few close friends and cousins. Her parents are expected to join her in a few days. They will be away for around 20 days.

Priyanka decided to give herself a break after getting frequently ill, due to exhaustion. Her parents advised her to take some time off and now that Kaminey is doing well, she took off for a holiday to the East.

Making a difference

Street gun battle

Motorists and shop owners in Delhi Street, ran for cover a gun battle between members of a security company and seven armed men.

"One of the men had used my car as a shield, while shooting at the security guards," said one of the eyewitnesses, who pointed out a bullet hole that had richochet onto his vehicle's light and ended up lodged in his vehicle.

Bins alight with fire

Three 'Why Waste' waste containers were allegedly set alight by matching protestors that had been taking part in the Municipal nation wide strike.

According to a local security company, the three containers were severely damaged due to the fact that the containers had been completely engulfed by flames. " People from other shops around the local shopping centre said that they had seen a group of people near the containers, " said one of that security guards, who had stood for almost a hour to hose down the blazing containers.

Laduma for Amazulu

Amazulu FC soccer power had ripped through the grounds at settlers parks, as Amazulu took the Uthukela Mayoral Cup, in one of the biggest soccer gatherings for NKZN.

Soccer fans flocked in the hundreds to the annual soccer event.

Teams, Jomo Cosmo, Amazulu, Martizburg Unit and Uthukela FC battled it out for the final position to try and skillfully take away the Mayoral Cup.
