Hero's welcome for top matriculant
Colourful banners, streams of confetti and joyous screams came from fellow pupils from Ladysmith Secondary School, as 18 year old Zainab Kharva took to the red carpet on a recently held hero's welcome celebrations.
Kharva was placed first in the KZN's top achievers for 2009. This the first time, in the 25 year history for LASEC, that a pupil from LASEC took first place.
