United Kingdom tourist escapes death

What was meant to be a sightseeing trip for Colin McDonnell almost turned to tragedy when his motorbike crashed on the R600. It is believed McDonnell hit a gravel patch on the road and lost control of his motorcycle.

According McDonnell's brother, Simon, he had been touring the battlefields when the incident occurred. "My brother was visiting from the United Kingdom and we were sight seeing around the battle fields area.
