In the world of sign language

The Ezakheni police station has embarked upon a project where they are having their personnel trained in the use of sign language.

The aim is to better equip their police officers with skills that can assist them in communicating more effectively with the hearing impaired and deaf persons who may want to report cases to them.

Angry mob goes on violent rampage

Burning tyres, pieces of ripped up pavement , rocks and other debris lay scattered along the streets of Tskana as another violent outburst erupted within the residential areas.

Members of the police rushed with rubber bullets blazing, as angry illegal protestors turned violent, throwing stones towards the firing police officers. Long shadows ran across the main road leading to Tskana, as a mob of protestors blocked off all roads leading to a local councillor's home, Councillor Cebekhulu.
