Doctor attacks nurse - claim

A doctor who allegedly assaulted a nurse at the Ladysmith Provincial Hospital has been arrested. The nurse was allegedly attacked by the doctor and says she is now living in fear following the incident which occurred on 24 March.

The nurse says she was unable to get any recourse from hospital management and decided to go the legal route by reporting the incident to the police.

She reported her case recently and the report is now in the possession of the Ladysmith Herald.

Improved signage on the N3 Toll Route

Travelling along the N3 Toll Route between Heidelberg and Cedara should be even more convenient with the installation of ten Variable Message Signs (VMS) at key points along the route.

These strategically located signs aim to help motorists make informed decisions based on a variety of eventualities that could take place along the Route. Motorists will be given the benefit of foresight to proceed with great caution, stop for a rest or opt to take an alternative road in the event of any incident or weather conditions that could impede the normal flow of traffic.
