Mayor’s tribute
The wreck of a vehicle lies a few feet from the plaque that honoured those that worked hard in making a difference to the ten families at St Chads.A few days after the official opening and unveiling of the plaque by the Emnambithi/Ladysmith Mayor Councillor DCP Mazibuko and MEC for Local Government Housing and Traditional Affairs, Mr Mike Mabuyakhulu, to honour those that have built ten houses for the ten families of St Chads, a collision almost ruined the progress achieved. According to officials on the scene of the collision, the plaque fell a few inches short of being smashed by the taxi.
