Going the extra mile

RTI officers working along the N3 had to go the extra mile when they assisted children involved in a serious collision along the Van Reenen Route.

One of the RTI officers even took one of the children in her arms to comfort her, while paramedics from the overturned vehicle. According the police a Toyota Corolla and an Iveco Camper were travelling on N3 towards Durban.

Brutal head-on collision claims two

Motorists, travelling along the N11 were greeted by a gruesome fiery scene on Sunday.

Responding emergency personnel unsuccessfully tried to save the lives of two Dundee men involved in a head on collision.

Anthony Naidoo(45) and Jurgens Medding(46) were killed when their vehicles, a Toyota Corolla and a motorcyle smashed into each other. Naidoo was travelling in the car while meeding was on the motorcycle with his wife.
